Equipment detail / MRI Systems
Outpatient imaging centers, hospitals, oncology programs, and academic/research sites that want flagship-tier 3T physics in a 60 cm bore at a meaningfully lower acquisition cost than wide-bore MR750w or current-generation SIGNA Architect/Premier 3T.

3T standard bore (Discovery flagship)
Refurbished GE Discovery MR750 3.0T (60 cm bore) — GE Healthcare's standard-bore Discovery-era flagship 3T MRI, the 60 cm sibling of the better-known wide-bore Discovery MR750w. Combines a 3.0T superconducting zero-boil-off magnet, a 60 cm patient bore, the GEM (Geometry Embracing Method) suite of high-channel surface coils, an advanced gradient platform, and a high-bandwidth digital receive chain to support advanced neuro (BOLD/fMRI, DTI, MRS), MSK, body, vascular, breast, and oncology imaging at flagship 3T performance. Clinically equivalent to the wide-bore MR750w — same magnet generation, same gradient and receive chain, same applications package — just in a 60 cm bore footprint that fits standard 3T magnet rooms without rebuilding for a 70 cm wide-bore install. Typical buyers are outpatient imaging centers, hospital replacements, oncology programs, research and academic sites, and PET/MR-adjacent programs that want flagship 3T physics on a 60 cm siting envelope. Compared to the Signa HDxt 3.0T, the Discovery MR750 brings a meaningfully newer console, a markedly stronger gradient and receive platform, and a much better helium lifecycle. Compared to the wide-bore MR750w, the standard-bore MR750 gives up the 70 cm patient bore in exchange for a lower acquisition cost and a smaller siting footprint. Compared to a SIGNA Architect or SIGNA Premier 3T, the Discovery MR750 lands at a much lower capital cost while keeping flagship-tier 3T performance for the standard clinical workload. As a GE-trained, engineer-led refurbisher, MIS handles sourcing, refurbishment, deinstall, magnet ramp-down, transport, ramp-up, install, applications training, parts inventory, and lifetime engineer-led service. Mobile-trailer and lease-to-own programs available for capacity, replacement, or interim projects.
